BSO members rehearsing May 2006

The Orchestra rehearses from 7.30 to 10pm on Mondays at Bickley Primary School, Nightingale Lane, Bromley BR1 2SQ. We welcome applications from prospective new members. We ask new members to complete this address form and Gift Aid declaration at their first rehearsal. There is a mailing list for members with an archive and rss feed.

We currently have vacancies for double basses and harps.
(Most other instruments have a waiting list)

Please bring a music stand to all concerts and rehearsals if you can.

Summer Barbecue: Sunday July 11 at Chris Richardson's house in Chelsfield. Please return the invitation even if you cannot come.

Subscriptions

The annual subscription for paying members (those who regularly attend rehearsals) for the 20010-11 season is £100 (roughly £3 per rehearsal), due at your first rehearsal. To encourage prompt payment, the rate for overdue subscriptions increases by £5 after each concert. Members joining part way through the season pay £25 per concert, and students and pensioners get a 50% discount. If the person who pays your subscription is a UK taxpayer, we ask you to sign this Gift Aid declaration. Check with the treasurer, David Rodker, if you're not sure whether you have signed one.

The easiest way to pay (no paperwork or fees) is to transfer this amount directly from your bank account to ours: HSBC account 30183792, sort code 40-15-05, using online banking or a Giro transfer at a Post Office. Please include your name as a reference, or inform the treasurer at so we know who has sent the payment.

You can also pay by cheque, payable to Bromley Symphony Orchestra, and hand it to the treasurer at a rehearsal or mail it to PO Box 1065, Bromley BR1 9QD.
